The Killer Nashville International Writers’ Conference was created in 2006 by author/filmmaker Clay Stafford in an effort to bring together forensic experts, writers, and fans of crime and thriller literature. Each year writers gather to strengthen their craft and connect, and the genres have expanded to include romance, supernatural, fantasy, mystery and much more.
The Claymore Award is one of two awards given at Killer Nashville for the first 50 pages of an unpublished manuscript.
"Lulu Shaman," the working title of my new manuscript was named as one of the "Top Picks" for the Supernatural Category this year. I feel so lucky to have one of my pieces selected as a "Top Pick" for the second year in a row (although I can't wait to break into the finalists' circle next year).
Looking forward to celebrating the category winners at the Awards Dinner this August!
